A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

The unoccupied Humboldt Hotel stands as the most distinguishable landmark atop the Ávila. I was very impressed with the surrounding park which is located at the top of the Teleférico. It runs as a stonework corridor along the ridge of the mountain. I found it to be very well maintained and full of life. There were food carts, live music, clowns on stilts, a caricature artist, an ice-skate rink, and lots of great places to sit and enjoy the view.
