The Teleférico climbs up a mountain to the south of Caracas. On Saturday, my co-worker Gerry and I rode to the top and spent the afternoon hiking and enjoying the scenery. Each tram-car can carry up to 6 people while traveling from the valley floor up 3,500 feet to the mountain-top. It moves at an average of 6.5 mph.
