Tuesdays after school, I team with fourth-grade teacher Tim DeVita for Runner's Club. We have about 12 dedicated 3rd and 4th graders who run about 1.5 miles with us each week. Since our campus is small, we have creatively squeaked out a half-mile route which includes a brief run through the school hallway. Some of the kids are quite good but a few have to be prodded along. After our run, we usually play some running games and then celebrate with Gatorade.
