It has been mentioned before that I help with the Red Shirt Assembly once a month. The Red Shirts are students in Preschool through Kindergarten. The assembly is always short and very fun. The time is used to help them learn good audience skills. Every class presents a play or song at least once during the year. The kids at that age are very funny. Yesterday I got to lead the welcome song as they entered the room. I now have a new respect for elementary music teachers and Red Shirt teachers.
