Venezuela is kicking into high Christmas mode. Everywhere you look there are giant Santas, decorated trees, and nativity scenes. Especially pretty are the trees wrapped with lights along major streets. The only thing missing is snow and cold. Friday I will be heading to my parents' house in the Northwest United States and hope to get some of that.
