Last night I enjoyed the magic of the theater in a surprising setting. The ECA Middle School students put on an outstanding performance of Roald Dahl's Matilda. Several of the cast members were former ES technology students. There were so many memorable characters, one could not say that any individual stole the show... they all did.  Mrs. Trunchbull was over-the-top and fun. Harry and Zinnia Wormwood were hysterical. The students at Matilda's school were interesting and alive. It was so well done that I may go see it again (and I NEVER do that with MS productions).
