Yesterday while looking out my window after a heavy rain-fall, I saw this giant vulture-like bird on the roof of a neighboring apartment. The bird perched there for over 10 minutes with its wings spread but having no desire to fly. With the sun shining on its back, this creature was drying out its wings after the down-pour. Sometimes you can see 4 or 5 birds sitting in rows on top of TV-dishes or towers getting dry. It is a fascinating thing to see.
