  Venezuela

Wyatt in Caracas
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Yesterday was a historic day in Venezuelan history, a country much divided. Venezuelans went in record numbers to the polls to vote whether to allow President Chavez to stay in office or kick him out. There was much speculation, anxiety, and preparation for the vote and how people would react. This photo was taken last week as well over 100,000 people gathered to voice their opinion. It was an amazing site.

As of the time I went to bed last night, there was no announcement of the election's outcome.
