Wyatt in Puerto Ordaz
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Good luck finding Puerto Ordaz on a map.  Most people presume it is on the coast.  In reality, it is up the Orinoco River 100+ miles and is about 300 miles South East from Caracas.  On Sunday, we went to this park to take a stroll and enjoy the view.  For 1000 Bolivars (around 50 cents), I bought two bags of fish food and we spent a half hour throwing the food into the lake and watching the fish frenzy for it.  The park itself is designed to walk you through jungle like foliage and over rock-work bridges spanning dozens of small streams and rivers.
