Thursday and Friday I had the unique opportunity to travel
with a class to Venezuela's world famous Henry Pittier National Park west of
Caracas. On the way we stopped at the Entomological Museum in Maracay and
took a special tour to learn about Venezuelan insects. This stick bug had
a good time climbing up on my head. Included below are other photos of our
tour. I hope this is as close as I get to tarantulas during my time here.
