Wyatt in Caracas
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

On Saturday, my co-worker Gerry and I decided to take a walk-about in the neighborhoods near our apartments in Caracas. Along the way Gerry became thirsty for some cafe con leche (coffee with milk) so we went to the first place we saw. It was a simple diner with little more than a counter and bar-stools. It had obviously been there a long time. We were enchanted by the place and the lady-owner who graciously allowed me to take a photo or two.

Having thought it over for a few days, I felt like I needed to add this second picture of the Cafe. It really brings out the personality of the place so much better than the first photo. Note the well loved counter and worn cash-machine with just enough clutter to be personable.
