On our second night in Merida State, we stayed in the mountains in this nice resort hotel in Santo Domingo called Trucha Azul (Blue Trout). We were even told there was golf here and were surprised to find confirmation in a putt-putt green. In the morning we went for a walk down from the town and into the beautiful valley.
