This picture was taken from the penthouse of the building across the street from my apartment just as the sun was going down. The elevation of Caracas is approximately 3000 feet. Depending on who you ask, it has between 3 and 9 million people. It is sunny almost every day but it stays relatively cool because of the mountains.
