Do you have a list of places you'd like to visit in your life? Well, I got to visit a place I've wanted to go to since elementary school. Death Valley holds the lowest spot in the western hemisphere. Badwater Basin is 282 feet below sea level. It was a lot different than I imagined. I always thought there was a town nearby but it is miles away from anywhere. Interestingly, low places can only occur in dry climates because in wet ones they would fill up with water to form lakes.
