I am not trying to turn this site into the home and garden show but I did see an interesting plant on my hike. In fact, it is rare for me to find a plant in this area that I have not seen before but this one was new. As far as I can tell, it is called roseroot. It generally grows in open areas high in the mountains but I found it hanging to the wall of a cliff on the edge of the forest.
