Last night hosted an amazing event in Juneau history. It was the send-off performance of The Tides and the Tempest in which thirty-four 4th & 5th graders performed a mix of Shakespeare and Alaska Native culture. Over 700 people attended the amazingly mature performance of these youths. We will take them to Washington D.C. tomorrow morning. Here is a motif of the Orca character. More tomorrow.
