Thank you for so many congratulatory emails yesterday. Our anniversary was pretty quiet and low-key and ended with an evening baby-care class rather than snuggles on the couch. That's probably just a taste of things to come.
Our friend Sarah, who made our original wedding cake, made us a one-year cake so we didn't have to eat dried-out original. She did a nice job of replicating last year's red-velvet cake. Thanks Sarah!
