Pelican, Alaska

The Alaska State Ferry system travels to the small fishing village of Pelican twice a month. On the day we traveled, there were 90 people who went in the morning and returned to Juneau in the evening. The ferry stays in Pelican for just 2 hours, which is plenty of time to see the whole place. The town's population hovers around 100 people.
