After school yesterday, Dana, Roni, and I took a ride out the road. As we drove through some wetlands near the Herbert River, we spotted this beaver enjoy a spruce snack just off the road. We watched him for 5 minutes and eventually he splashed into the pond and swam away. It was one of those spring moments that reminded me why I love living in Alaska.
