Juneau, Alaska

Debbie, Kim, Scott, and I were up at a lake, high in a valley, and we found a sturdy boat sitting on the bank. The problem was that there were no paddles. Scott really wanted to take the boat out for a few minutes so he found a large stick to use as an oar. After one go-around, he decided that the stick needed some more width so he found a rock and attached in with a shoelace. The whole thing weighed about 25 pounds. There was much merriment and mirth as we all had a chance to use the new contraption.
