A recent hike took me up to one of the most beautiful valley's in Juneau. It is highlighted by a large lake held in place by the 80 year old Salmon Creek Dam. This reservoir holds much of the drinking water in Juneau. They claim it is so pure that they don't even need to treat it for public consumption.
