After Crown Point, we traveled a little ways up the Columbia Gorge to Multnomah Falls and spent an hour or two wandering around. Multnomah Falls is roughly equivalent to the Mendenhall Glacier as an accessible natural attraction. It is a two minute walk off the highway and there are always lots of people there.
