Liard, British Columbia

June 22, 2007

One of my favorite hot-springs is out in the middle of nowhere. Almost a full day's drive from Skagway, in northern British Columbia, is Liard Hot spring. The water flows from the ground at around 140 degrees but cools to 108 degrees as it goes along the developed bed. Dana and I camped there and spent time soaking and relaxing in the spring. As we left, we saw a moose hanging out in a near-by bog.
