I noticed in the paper last night that they will be closing Thane Road today so the transportation department can blast down the avalanches. Thane sits below a very tall mountain and occasionally it gets buried by a force of snow. I took some eagle photos a few weeks back within the avalanche area so I kept one eye on the eagles and one on the mountain.
