Wyattjourney was only started as a way to reassure my friends and family that I was doing okay living overseas. The addiction to photography came later, as I discovered I had a hidden talent and a good eye. This photo, posted October 17, 2003, of hummingbirds at a feeder in Trinidad was the first photo I felt excited about posting. The basket photo was the first one my mother got excited about. The rest of these shots are some of my best from the site's first year.
