You should have heard the gasps when we told our guests last Saturday night that they would have to join in the preparation of their authentic Romanian dinner. What they didn't realize was the full day of preparation Dana went through to get it to the level of authenticity needed for them to do the final steps. We had invited friends to come hear about our travels in Romania last summer. We served a Romanian soup called ciorba, some salad, and a cornmeal/feta/egg concoction called mamaliga. During dessert we did a slide show and talked about our experience. We had a lot of positive feedback about the evening and we eagerly await our coming return to Romania.(scroll down for more photos)
