Field trips often bring amazing learning experiences that a person might otherwise not have. During our glacier trip, a US Forest Service biologist showed us that there is life under the lake ice. The salmon eggs laid in the fall are now fingerlings and looking healthy. It was surprising how many fish we were able to catch. The students and adults were all impressed.
