That isn't a dog.

For several years I've heard the local rumors of a black wolf that roams the lands near the glacier. They said that hikers encountered him all the time. Finally I was able to confirm the rumor last Saturday when I was hiking on Mendenhall Lake with a friend. We got pretty close and I have several photos to show. It was as magical as they had told me to experience such a rare and solitary creature.
