We bought a slice of fresh honeycomb at a market in Bucharest and shared it as a snack. One of my students was a bee-keeper and told me all about the process of farming bees. It seems like a very interesting process. The major crop that bees use at this time of year is the sunflower which makes for a very sweet honey. Yum.
