Sinia, Romania

As many of you know, much of my summer was spent in Romania with my bride. We were on a two week mission trip. While there, we spent time traveling the country and learning more about the culture. At a famous church in Sinia, we watched as people bought candles and lit them for friends and relatives. There was a special place for prayers for the dead and special ones for the living. Occasionally the prayer-candles were cleaned out so more could be added.
